I can't believe how big they are getting. It is going by way to fast!<br />

Gracie- you are the most mellow and easy going baby around (even more then your sister was). You love to laugh and smile, you shrill at the top of your lungs when you are happy, and you have discovered that you can pull down the bumper on your crib to look out and check on your brother. Your big sister Catie adores you. She loves to crawl in your crib and put you on her lap and read to you. You are destine to be best friends. Your name really does suit you. </div>

CJ...you are all boy. You laugh hysterically when you are tickled, you want to stand all the time, you love to look around and see everything going on around you, your favorite toy is a big red car, and you smile at everyone with your two bottom teeth showing. </div>

Catie loves to dance. Her favorite thing is when Auntie Susie comes over and they have a dance party. She has great moves (Catie...not Susie :) Anyways, last year Catie took ballet and while she enjoyed it, the class didn't seem very challenging for her and she got board a lot. This year I signed her up for a dance class at a real dance studio (end of the performances, parents waiting room, etc). The first half of the class consists of tap dance and the second half (after the proper shoe change) consists of jazz/ ballet. Catie's had a blast at her first class. The other kids in the class were waiving at their parents during the class and Catie wanted nothing to do with me. I waved to her and she literally stuck her hand up like she was saying "Oh mom....go away". The teacher (who owns the studio and has grown twins herself) told me how adorable Catie was and how she could already tell that she was a great addition to the class. My favorite part...I don't have to stay for class if I don't want to, which means I can run to Whole Foods down the street with one less child in tow! <br />

<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Yesterday Catie started pre-school for the second year. To say that she was excited is an understatement. She put out her outfit the night before and in the morning she asked every 3 minutes if it was time to go to school. When we pulled up to school all of the parents were there waiting with their children. Catie told Colin and I that we could just drop her off and go. Much to Catie's dismay, we stayed with her. She was literally the first kid in the door. She walked in, gave the teacher a hug, threw her sweater in her cuby and went straight for the play dough. She then told us to go home. It is going to be a wonderful year. On Mondays she has music class, Wednesdays gym and Fridays they play on a field across the street. She is going to have a blast this year! </div>

On a side note. College Football is back!!! As shown in the twins birth announcement- we have a divided house. SC vs. Purdue. Well this past Saturday SC had a game (nice win Trojans) and Purdue didn't so the kids were dressed in their Trojan best. Don't worry, we have just as much Purdue gear as we have SC gear. Stay tuned and...Fight On!</div>

She has been telling everyone that her school closed in August and opens again in September because they are painting it. I have no clue if they really are, but if they aren't, I'm pretty sure that she will probably ask the teachers why it looks the same.<br />
<br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
Earlier this month we took our annual trip up to Lake Tahoe with Colin's family, and as usual, we had a blast!The weather was perfect and the all of the kids (including the twins) loved the beach and pool. Catie had a wonderful time building sand castles and even made friends on the beach to play with. We are looking forward to hopefully heading back up this winter and getting Catie on skis!</div>

</div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">
I know that it has been a VERY long time since I have updated our family blog but I promise that there was a good reason for the delay....we added fraternal twins to our family! CJ (Colin John O'Connell Jr.) and Grace Elizabeth O'Connell were born on January 17, 2012. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zGGkxF_73j0/UBbl28BGRLI/AAAAAAAAAws/xZJ_u4USG9o/s1600/12+-+1" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" eda="true" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-zGGkxF_73j0/UBbl28BGRLI/AAAAAAAAAws/xZJ_u4USG9o/s320/12+-+1" width="239" /></a></div>
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none; text-align: justify;">
(CJ is on the left & Gracie is on the right)</div>
<br />
It was a long road to get them here and honestly I was so focused on the twins that I forgot about updating our blog. Then when the twins finally arrived and I forgot what sleep felt like! At our 8 week ultrasound Colin and I found out that we were expecting twins (which is honestly the last thing that we thought would happen to us). When the technician asked if twins ran in our family we both responded, "No, why"? To say that we were shocked is an understatement. We went through every range of emotion: laughter, nervousness, terror but ultimately were thrilled. We were going to be expanding our family by 2! <br />
<br />
In typically O'Connell fashion, the fact that we were pregnant with twins didn't slow us down. We bought a new house, remodeled it, moved, bought a new car, and prepared for the birth of twins. At 28 weeks I was placed on bed rest and remained on it until the birth of the twins at 37 weeks 1 day. I can't thank our families enough for everything that they did for us and for Catie while I was on bed rest (almost 3 weeks of which was in the hospital). It was a very difficult time (especially since it was over the holidays) and we required a lot of help. Our families took care of Catie, grocery shopped for us, did our laundry, friends delivered meals, etc. We truly thank everyone for their help and support.<br />
<br />
It took a little while to adjust to life with two new babies and 3 1/2 year old. We quickly got the twins on a schedule and our home became a well oiled machine with all hands on deck. We joke when people come and visit by saying, "Here hold a baby, we have plenty of them to go around". The twins have completed our family and Catie is an incredible big sister.<br />

On Saturday we celebrated Catie's birthday by throwing her a Princess Party. The real Snow White came to her party and all of the little princesses had a wonderful time decorating crowns, watching a puppet show, having their face painted and getting balloon wands made for them. It is hard to believe that Catie is 4 years old. Happy birthday Catie. You fill our lives with so much joy, laughter and love. We love you from the moon to sea and everything in between. </div>

Well, now that life is settling down (as much as it can be with three kids) I am excited to start our blog back up and updating all of our family and friends on the many adventures of Catie, CJ and Gracie. I am sure that it is going to be a wild ride. After all, Catie makes three and the twins make 5!<br />

Forgive me. We have been busy trying to keep up with Catie. She never stops and I can't believe that she will be 3 next month. Where has the time gone! Catie is potty training and doing well, she loves to play soccer in the front yard with her cones, she can conquer any slide, and her favorite song right now is BINGO. She will be happy to sing it for you.<br />Here is a quick update of what we have done in the past few months: We spent Easter in Palm Desert and Catie had a wonderful time. She loved hunting for Easter Eggs and the Easter Bunny brought her sunglasses, sparkly shoes, a bouncy ball that lights up, and a lady bug that shines stars on her ceiling.<br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5623326482227345746" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 213px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRSydzzABX9IT70unHjnoRDxm5nPbtItiDpd9dFPdbKVlwThhCTPiB25SXsdq1BK_jkBnEnT7VgZl8MpybyaZh_HA5OuTy-U0IE8ClJj75EBGjqBNM6PlTHBGhzY374qzHSnhv9Ol7v0jR/s320/easter+4.jpg" border="0" /></div><br /><p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5623326122300533762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQSMMVVywxwr5Ei4J1ApzgJQmAkYoqTakDD4IGvnanvV4lkyaip1Axko4uz20y3uojKx_q8By28Wos-4-oUBbWqCKvvkXCh7uqfEry2GVFupToycKIwElzU5E_Fl94AjpNP9xn0mwjTPqI/s320/easter.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5623326472379425762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 213px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiuktE7ind9tYYbNEQpxo_CURVGXaBbNGLnpUAPOPQr2yGFdd3CR3jkeVU6oRwGvl6zraYv353aA_FrRbMN4BbQDQkqcd1Yq-W0Sq1T-jKrvni_37bkk9U9slDNGyIwZdSsqJka12RHguoK/s320/easter+2.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5623326476524322690" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 213px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgij32y9abHgYwxbf_snkM8aq4_R9xUDUAWOiTH5DkuOVXY1-92dKwNBLOiDOx0ZVpyMrltbyYyv-3JC3C5rMLvZgKZkB21E5cZZZbeP81yb5E3712Jl5GQOe9J_mXKtI2StCFaIThP4nQI/s320/easter+3.jpg" border="0" /><br /></p><p>In May we celebrated Mother's Day and my birthday. She loves fire trucks and will tell you that you need to go outside if there is a fire. We always have to stop and wave to the firemen. We also celebrated Father's Day by going to church in the morning and then we went to Sam's in Sausalito for brunch. Colin will be celebrating his #% birthday (you are welcome Colin) and Catie will turning 3. She is still debating on what type of party she wants, but she has it narrowed down to either a princess party or barbie party. For a few weeks we have been talking to Catie about the Paci Fairy's and her upcoming visit.<br /><div></div><div> </div><div>The back story on the Paci Fairy is that she comes and takes all of the pacifiers so that she can give them to the new babies (since Catie is a big girl and doesn't need them anymore). When the Paci Fair takes the pacis she leaves a present as a thank you. </div><br /><div>Well, the Paci Fairy came on Saturday night and when Catie woke up on Sunday I immediately sat up and watched the baby video monitor. Catie started to feel around her bed and yell "paci" so I went into her room and said, "Oh my gosh did the paci fairy come?" Catie slowly sat up and saw the two presents on the floor and yelled "Presents, Paci Fairy" and she didn't think twice about her pacifier. It was great!!</div><br /><div>She spent all day playing with her new doll and Barbie and didn't even ask for a paci when she took her nap. Going to bed was a little tough. Our routine consists of brushing her teeth, putting on her sleep sack, giving her a lilly (her blanket) and paci, and rocking her to her Catie sleep song. We did everything and when we started to rock her she wanted her pacifier. After 20 minutes of rocking and reading books (and crying) we finally put her down. She wasn't crying anymore but it seemed like she didn't really know what to do. She looked for her pacis for a little bit and then just sat up and bed and looked at some books (we left a light on...don't worry, she wasn't reading in the dark). It took her 2 hours to fall asleep but she didn't cry. She woke up the next morning and acted as though she had no idea what a pacifier even was. Catie hasn't asked for a paci yet. </div><br /><div>Oh, it did help that the Paci Fairy visited B and Da's house the next day and rumor has it that the Paci Fairy also made a visit to Gigi and Bampa's. Catie scored....thanks Paci Fairy. </div><br /><div></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5574739237942828354" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgiNjsTmXRP4S0BnQg-zGzPGiNOtRtqnZ2t8PqZVXWXbU81XiCJ7dcq-lTJuVC1FCwe8C1fpp0PXN0FiiTtrSJw-_Bq-5Yc0wotB52r8oDjJZm7cWqNUTHYKGsOD64TE53frYFrpvSPvqH8/s320/paci.JPG" border="0" /><br /><p><em>Catie not knowing what to do since she doesn't have her pacifiers. Woooo whoooo!!! As you may remember a couple of years ago I compared the <a href="http://andcatiemakesthree.blogspot.com/2009/01/pre-school-applications-vs-college.html">pre-school application process </a>to getting into college. I have come to realize that it is so very true! The pre-school that Catie will be going to has 30 kids in a class. Kids of alumni and current siblings get the initial spots and then the remaining spots go to the children on the waiting list. This year 24 openings went to alumni and siblings and the remaining 6 openings will go to kids that are on the waiting list (which currently consists of 200 applicants that were placed on the waiting list within 60 days of birth). Crazy, huh!<br /><br />Well, we couldn't be more thrilled for so many reason.<br /><br />1) Colin went to the same pre-school (hence Catie receiving one of the 24 spots for alumni and siblings). Thanks Colin!<br /><br />2) Colin still talks about his time at pre-school. Not joke, he loved it and will tell you all about how he was chosen to sing "Take me out to the ball game".<br /><br />3) The school is in a brand new location and the new facilities are amazing.<br /><br />4) There are 6 teachers so the student to teacher ratio is incredible.<br /><br />5) The school curriculum has a great mix of structure and play.<br /><br />6) The pre-k program which Catie will be doing in a few years is excellent. They have a science teacher, a teacher that helps with writing, an art teacher, etc. I love that!<br /><br />and finally the most important thing....<br /><br />Catie loved it! We took Catie on a visit to the school for a morning and she had a wonderful time. Another family was there observing and the little girl stuck by her mom and dad for awhile until she warmed up. Catie on the other hand did not. She held my hand as we walked in and literally within 5 seconds of being inside she took off. She wanted nothing to do with Colin or me. She had a great time and loved every minute of school.<br /><br />Catie also carried on the O'Connell tradition.....she cried and I mean CRIED when we left (just like her daddy did when he observed the school for the day). As we left Catie kept saying "Please mommy stay here".<br /><br />Now if you ask her about school she will say "Catie, pre-school, next year".<br /><br />She can't wait for September to come (I however will probably be the one crying this time).<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568944353868711250" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdBHkBhgrhtZHOciP1SIWSozaGGsdDq-H2Oajez-FC-WPFSJXGt2WGZO40IUjAHlhrHzvuehEK9mOVPpJ91mUyIUckF3wDpIXR3BrOVj-VqocJwB37-zi8OzPcJoELPPgGqnNC4qWIrJYZ/s320/catie+preschool.JPG" border="0" /><br />Catie on the morning that she went to "check out" pre-school.Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13622161690290165843noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4247100458096776710.post-53097632150718459192011-02-01T20:27:00.001-08:002011-02-03T12:58:43.585-08:002 1/2 year old statsCatie went to the doctor's for her 2 1/2 year old doctor's appointment. January has flown by and I just realized that I haven't updated our family blog. So here it goes.....<br /><br />Before we headed down to Pasadena for Christmas we did a couple of things. We picked out our tree (Catie found a tree her own size)<br /><br /><br /><div><p><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU67s2xwduSQOWgEGYUc9gdLH7PRr7kcIL8OrjvaIm-Yg7oTFsp0kQb3Xbyui74OIJmA4-RXmViJtBs2CKto-y4Lgbwkb3YdMtqX8QhUWG5OQC1H1YUnIOMa54s0V-RMc_OzevxYF4GJ8G/s1600/IMG_1859.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568850174669196194" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU67s2xwduSQOWgEGYUc9gdLH7PRr7kcIL8OrjvaIm-Yg7oTFsp0kQb3Xbyui74OIJmA4-RXmViJtBs2CKto-y4Lgbwkb3YdMtqX8QhUWG5OQC1H1YUnIOMa54s0V-RMc_OzevxYF4GJ8G/s320/IMG_1859.jpg" border="0" /></a>We went to a Christmas party hosted by my mother's club and Catie decorated cookies and made a snowman<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir45gCEbHQMQ9a9Atibq_6jh0popjyuTEZ-QJqsmThdlawQtcWsGoynN17L0fJTjTiGf1HvMeGvvtqJHx-eSP0VacZwlrlyzntlvODK-OBB3zgK_Xc76Eh8DlSaP0PHqJ0bN1BflYr42DV/s1600/IMG_1900.JPG"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568850351455958898" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEir45gCEbHQMQ9a9Atibq_6jh0popjyuTEZ-QJqsmThdlawQtcWsGoynN17L0fJTjTiGf1HvMeGvvtqJHx-eSP0VacZwlrlyzntlvODK-OBB3zgK_Xc76Eh8DlSaP0PHqJ0bN1BflYr42DV/s320/IMG_1900.JPG" border="0" /></a>And we went to the Children's Party at Annandale golf club. Catie loved watching the magic show but didn't love seeing Santa Claus as much. <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568850629576704562" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJXgRaTa_cJRHfuAMwstckZZ9sMxEGadpzdGE-bXp0ssWReEAmMshP03j7ixXv5EAiHx9FF5cx58olUJU2l_Cw7D_05s72Lwe3oJTPbmGZLQw91ZKIB-le8OTaFbG8IxvQ8Pb-fBpDg_3N/s320/IMG_1963.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568850626346063682" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBrvboYGkbhDcGwWJADIQcEl5k4S6_a2OSbdW2tqWF2KrZE2ZsAigCUllV0U3qoRr7MWxfbtfqLSzjJ-PysSgXdbqXYHou4KMa7CQS50GGNuiPvphsPVruKtJgGcCDB0xwCbLCeMzgMxtZ/s320/IMG_1945.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568853625801453666" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWMtp7sBt0697zJmllVVZfgiMG6d_yGa4dL3QTOI9foDfD5qnrjjQxqK8PFPIpUiJHVCJpa5IUg2MMNkYPm-IkDRPuFJvT6dFou7R8aUp32VAY9Z72X5PCM1_rfQCwjZGa2E4Hmr7O6dSa/s320/IMG_1940.JPG" border="0" />After work on the 22rd we all drove to Pasadena and Catie was great in the car. She watched some dvds and slept for most of the way. On the 23rd we decided to do something different and my parents, sister, Colin, Catie, and I ventured into LA to watch the <a href="http://www.olvera-street.com/html/las_posadas.html">Las Posadas</a> at a Mexican resturant on Olvera Street (The Posada is a short pilgrimage that reenacts the Christmas Eve journey of Mary and Joseph in Bethlehem searching for shelter). They had a performance of Aztec dancers (Catie wasn't a fan of the loud noise that they made), Mexican dancers, and a puppet show that was put on by the <a href="http://www.bobbakermarionettes.com/">Bob Baker Marionettes</a>. Catie loved the puppet show just as much as I did when I was a little girl. A puppet even sat on her lap! </p><p>The 24th was spent getting the dinner ready, wrapping last minute gifts, going to church and enjoying each others company. Catie had a wonderful time on Christmas eve and Christmas day running around with all of her second cousins and she was even big enough to eat at the kids table this year. </p><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568850354262630962" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjGcmeVYTAn-U0giFrDzL4HwiU8od8vCwYr5VAZJzXxYWwMDYp7Kx7nRqZPs11fXqAzsZVHqyU7-Jm6uO9nnX6bxIqic1viam2B9M1Qs3zF9vM8jG6WTjqF0ag8bJ6f9QK-fufJTx0-D8Y8/s320/IMG_1915.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568852422306877682" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhb1YTeiTT1nHCUyU6WRZEvp1-h7xEkyWo0PJRbZcS38ZU4F6OwsG6NHIMWnva3U8fGgqGhWtJE8UNycsEm_qR7DG_7FvsUFCEMKs_KTVZntDvujYpCcKDAU2YNzlHrTfxS3zIwmS4WPq52/s320/table.jpg" border="0" />Catie loved Christmas morning. She asked Santa for a blue bike with a helmet (although the sight of Santa made her poop her diaper...literally). She must have been a good girl because Santa brought her the bike that she wanted (although I think that Colin was more excited then Catie was). Catie loved opening presents and would rip open the wrapping paper, grab the gift, hold it up to her face and say "ooohhhh". As I watched her open her gifts I couldn't help but think about how much she has grown. One year before (12/27/09) she started to walk and now she was running around thrilled with everything that she got. Time really does fly by. She was royally spoiled by her aunts, grandparents, and great grandmother. She is a very lucky lady to be so loved. <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568850933900040258" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYml66Uu-y2fU0OcO3j_mBsEeiz9b0p10OqUUBPoiP8Mo_gw76Nz3YQ71XTQKdwJpWmErZb41kExSKVNNHLoVuExnFGl_IDT5T6Un9Ot850SoIkUyK69QpvkxopGfNjX-r1IL6x6nnCQlD/s320/IMG_2023.JPG" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568850943034257202" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhaAsGxyGvQyNsdZfN6DsY_bKpf8PkslRCWZW79-hCGWCER7K8kUjJ3g8ZHMrz3evs-hKYZlCZa8loY8Va_aQumv2VorIMAnnrMCmmUgdg6cZ-t6J1wXJZ1k_yzXF8plMbKbukfp1ndbuSR/s320/IMG_2031.jpg" border="0" /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568850640913919458" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTyGXuDrfFECTPLze523FsAc10pOrWe4wvE6p5z1L8fDh-EFcmZLdeIcoBlgz54emIItMqy7U9KT0kNS-cAzOHs1_Yi1SAy-WZJFScuQUc7l1V6AtQfUnAM8A30-4EetC4_79PvMF5VZ4i/s320/IMG_2017.JPG" border="0" /> <img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568863046367840994" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy1YymsbXTduiSIgcKs1lfoHy5_eNDHp7jUKw-2b5Q2yYlLttMZtPPyGHl4gg1N-45Ljz9MzgH3p_Ww-Uid7YX4aTEIRscgKMVtCuFEpZEi4wzTNc1TEKmhp1kXVEbh8Xu83bitZsJuhyphenhyphenU/s320/IMG_2047.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568850948318815410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiMxWkhlBBBNWyPdGioql-67rJvZAJo_OkI-dXz_GkmDsmHSRzFMPJ1JIp6YjOAWWCdYXBkX7XJf_RqLD8iPuxeLfaIyRLMf9fqpkKnYO6KEhC3dyUQmI_eM2PRr__reDgnLGExJ49xjXVK/s320/IMG_2039.JPG" border="0" /><br /><br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5568861833223102546" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 214px; CURSOR: pointer; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ8tOBidesnfpBmGTiR9faSNxAS5XsrfaOpql0gJZfX5tyKT3JXIBbCbbJ05c3OWLg_pBQud-UeDBegEGHPKWNIPoKMntS7BFXUp84D-pKuXcfEyv2_pbnOhEnhYuTpBuY_av9LQgQGl3x/s320/IMG_2049.jpg" border="0" />After Christmas we headed to Palm Desert for some relaxation and golf. Colin, Catie and I flew down to the desert on Wednesday just in time for dinner. We woke up on Thursday morning and B and I starting cooking and waited for Colin’s cousins to arrive. We had a wonderful evening filled with delicious food, amazing wine, and surrounded by family and great stories. The only thing missing was Auntie E and Ken but they arrived on Friday morning to complete the festivities. We spent time talking, relaxing, playing dominoes and even went into the pool (for just a few minutes). It wasn’t really warm out but staying in a complex with a pool next door was torture for Catie who kept yelling “pool”. (thank goodness the pool was heated). Catie was able to spend a couple minutes swimming and she loved jumping off the side into Auntie E’s arms. As I am sure that everyone knows, Christmas is my favorite time of year and it seems like it is also my daughters (yeah!!!!). When we ask who is coming at Christmas Catie replies “Santa” and then says that she wants a blue bike this year and I bet that she will get one. After all, she’s been a good 2 year old this year. Catie also loves Christmas lights. When we drive by places at night she will scream “Lights, light” and then proceeds to gasp. It’s adorable. She loves listen to her Christmas cd that has her name in every song. I can only image her reaction when we get our Christmas tree on Friday and put Christmas lights up on the front of our house. Don’t worry, I will video tape her reaction and post it next week along with some holiday pictures.<br /><br />Tis the season!!!!<br /><br /><div></div>Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13622161690290165843noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4247100458096776710.post-31613143205442266552010-11-02T11:17:00.000-07:002010-11-02T11:24:54.253-07:00World Series Champs!!!It seems that Catie is just like her daddy. Last weekend we went to the pumpkin patch in Nicasio Valley and Catie had a wonderful time. We have been going to the same pumpkin patch for the last 3 October’s and we have loved looking at how much she has changed over the years. The pumpkin patch has great organic pumpkins, gourds, hay rides, and hay mazes. It really inspires me to become creative with my pumpkin display at home.<br /><br /><strong>Catie- 2 1/2 months old</strong><br /><div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529505289655301410" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 213px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiFv8MqC9BMzs0g-cIO9i_cn1Uvl7EhbWfTr4Cv18Anxj67iXhOBBr3JiEJHVYjq1mhW3odZG0So6JenWocoowIbDUNzOLRhvWmDCiOcGnEdiMVaZLkitS48kI_4C-2V4oWTJAMQwMUoiUz/s320/catie+halloween+2+mths.jpg" border="0" /><br /><strong>Catie 1 year old</strong><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529505305229159154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 213px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFjEih8Y_zdUPNHvWaJyL4jCFvcKsX65KkcwHrVNJ1wSvQGnyirKreFyLnjUkgmqC0Mu_dB8rUBIgqTUtPsH8WTww2QawNEFyH2roqhf79z7AFdUl7qEj9RrOJpS207jZgs-XoBABR559k/s320/catie+pumpkin+patch+2+yrs.jpg" border="0" /><strong>Catie 2 years old</strong><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5529505300008319506" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 214px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4z-8YabCTSvQ8tzo3KM6ITi45Szj6xxFiUhgHGW5tcV745mbcR1WiYee5W6AvGo0z-LXh72rjuzaWt5DOnST0s0VC9YvhG083PjrK3a5Or2NC_sVTGN0s14Q3EtOMnEJqCMC4bih5OGB0/s320/catie+pumpkin+pacth.JPG" border="0" /></div><div>(You will note that Catie's face is really red in this year's picture. On Friday Catie had music class, playgroup, and we went to another pumpkin patch with the mother’s club. Catie loved the bouncy house and had a great time running around. Colin went to a bachelor party on Saturday for the night so Catie and I spent the day hanging out and playing in the backyard. Good thing we spent a lot of time outside because on Sunday the cold and rain set in (love it). We spent Sunday at a couple’s baby shower and then spent the night watching the Giants games.<br /><br />Crisp air, fire in the fireplace, scarves, pumpkin spice candles…..I love fall!</div></div>Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13622161690290165843noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4247100458096776710.post-87906313052863878192010-09-28T11:07:00.001-07:002010-09-28T11:20:10.923-07:00Last Month of Summer RecapColin and I are truly blessed that his parents (B and Da) watch Catie three days a week for us. It makes it so much easier to go to work when you know that your family is watching your child and loving her, taking care of her, kissing her owies, reading to her, playing with her, etc. Well, B and Da deserved a break for all of their hard work (watching a 2 year old can be exhausting) and they finally got to take one. They went on a trip of a lifetime….3 weeks in Europe. It sounds like they had an amazing time and we loved the gifts that they brought back for us. Catie will be the best dressed girl in town now that she has several amazing outfits from Paris. We are so glad that B and Da are back….we all missed them!<br /><br />While B and Da were away my mom (Gigi) stepped in and watched Catie for us. Colin, Catie, Auntie Susie, and I headed to Pasadena for Labor Day weekend and then Catie and I stayed and spent the following week hanging out with friends, swimming, spending time with Gigi, Bampa, and her great grandmother Nonnie.<br /><br /><div><div><div><div><div><div><div></div><div>Catie calling to telling Gigi and Bampa that we arrived at the airport on time. </div><div></div><div></div><div></div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5522028192265914194" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh825_l9_lUt-a-6LKnI6PeC3GIYEA24cQeKflksx6wo8qVpcZEMFnE1MU2G6MGfHTVKIMRZEiIaUCRAlygSGQRf4xFO01cAgHjxAqwg1vVSyeMuFK-6aT7a5ymjqHiSP6aZFYU8u0y0FNB/s320/catie+watemark+6.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>Pool time with Daddy</div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5522028198186126082" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgRa1kfM2HNq9jHyzS500dTxAgPPj44RFNgVhp8bzfKPStSp99ToiaEte7MnOyjDVVRQ2jqO-VNd0DYNGyuXiZ4rB2WY5-viynSE30PsEFXZ5NrYoA-PnN-odBSFjCsjqdhiGGojtkhCKIq/s320/catie+watemark+7.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>Snack time</div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5522027827894068322" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAYe5ylAvZDOvQaiKHDiPZhm6KzZ9gdJgeQvSLeXig2Pcj4MSa0RSFyuoO7uMbwlkCrlaVyvuOoE6BCjtVixZfJss-pFYFNDNR3Zsw78ov4AzwUlfEVvmRHexnmng7Qlv-fBwPOpMIRoWu/s320/catie+watemark+5.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>Since Catie loves to clean...why not starting having her do her own dishes?</div><div></div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5522027822660239170" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeuAFWsOko_o1AWKrTEGsNwZBDAsT4TB8kpZH9R2QotGbzCIdtAyJhhXFJ2SkKNTUevN2dKxvvgmvkJcphPJpHAukLeg24vGO4PdImrwtTOLROugVqFR222PQN5LbFqYZ6bF8wfkgiKGd1/s320/catie+watemark+4.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>The next Rachel Zoe</div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5522027819191946850" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYKvXon1rzyyu0U2vVUKTsBrcCfjRdU-XGVSoed7JRK6haNPdHExOYlI-f2vhcqmZ9zEq5Soz5B07GYvUE6ffhJcVKd4tciZ3IwW9QJor5nnPFZLktl4dkB5xqB_-F49rMQ5STxaRDWHnx/s320/catie+watemark+3.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>Towards the end of the week Catie caught a stomach bug/ temperature but she is feeling much better now. </div><div></div><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5522028201883987762" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRGfMC5mg2wZAWFedC7YJ4SSLAZEYR9X92-6iSDdiKUAqm0XtMCweCjaq1x4dzDsGGbAvXYpCrlnMiR8sGj60nxjCxLzSJXueIS8HyI2VZXym7BV3O2YSSftd6lTbXgkZv6YpbQPkzCAxX/s320/catie+watemark+8.jpg" border="0" /></div><div>We had a wonderful time and normally it is sad to leave but this time wasn’t as bad since Gigi came back up with us! Gigi stayed with us for two weeks and watched Catie while Colin and I worked. We had so much fun and I loved spending so much time with my mom. I felt like I was a kid again….I went off to school (I mean work) and came home and the grocery shopping had been done, my laundry was done, dinner was made. Man….I was spoiled! Mom, we really appreciate you taking 2 weeks off from your hectic schedule to come up and watch Catie (and thank you to my dad for letting us borrow mom). Catie misses you Gigi!<br /><br />With the heat that we are currently having in Northern California it is hard to believe that summer is over and that fall has begun, but it has. This meant that Catie and I were going to be home alone and so was my mom. This year was a big birthday for my sister Susie. She turned 30!!! We started the birthday festivities off by flying to Pasadena and dropping Catie off with my parents. My mom and dad took care of Catie for 4 straight days! Now that doesn’t really seem like a long time until you realize that they were taking care of an almost 2 year old that is incredibly active, loves to run, and gets into EVERYTHING! They seemed to have a blast and Catie was kept super busy while we were away. She had a couple of play dates, got her haircut, went shopping, had lunch with the ladies, went to the Huntington gardens, and got tons of hugs and kisses. My parents said that it was great but I am sure that they were exhausted. They did an amazing job and my mom even thanked me for the best mother’s day gift ever…taking care of Catie. If that’s the case, what are you doing for your birthday mom?<br /><br />Well, we dropped Catie off and then Susie and I went to Palm Springs and 13 of our close friends, including Colin, flew in for the weekend. We had a wonderful time hanging out in the pool, playing golf, eating, talking, laughing and maybe having a few cocktails. We think that it might have to be an annual trip. Here are two pictures from the weekend (I haven't downloaded mine yet).<br /><div><div><div><div><br /></div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473413293918370914" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVLv700GyaWYyVS49kfXZOJdM0CGNhTMe-BbH78bzXHuuu537O905Qo9gWK3irxTgwN8u9P_xoh0e2mY41UUoPHFiNlb0DcwrfO5i_jienooxdVtoM3a9WbRDBBL8yjeELqQIy6tHa0SGb/s320/suz+birthday+group.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473415740814368530" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi79um13fdhifJqPbEYeoB09mcpeZ336f3PehYQvZcv0otVyR98NERZjWECYu6L2GeV2w5gD_pGvs8APnXjaLEgKUfWfQ4cL5w2wF9ZdQVv7BbNO7UHteT2WFCAs3QtRNxXSpFfOkpV-6rP/s320/birthday.jpg" border="0" />After a week of getting things back to normal once again we geared up for another birthday celebration…mine (I choose not to disclose my age). I started the day with a massage while Colin dropped Catie off at his parents for the night. ***On a side note…. I promise that we don’t normally pawn Catie off to people as much as we have done this month. The massage was wonderful and the sun started to shine just as all of the fest ivies began. A bunch of my friends and I went to the Tiburon Wine Festival and had wonderful time sipping (or gulping in some cases) wine and sampling yummy food. After the festival we headed back to our house for a BBQ and several “non- festival attendees” joined us. We had a great time and it meant so much to me that so many people came. The night ended with a few drinks at the Silver Peso in Larkspur. A perfect way to celebrate my $# birthday. A big thank you to everyone! </div><div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473413120349168834" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAaJTPC4deRoXb6G6qcEfhnybAxngz6U6_Djh38oK9A21yORZKznplIReLlIFdoN_CXZaQlVgf88DCcpq9v0h2bX9ialip7ooIge-Ko4mSjsB3htryYms6dpLMDr3rAZ9cQmyvJH6SP6Ak/s320/tiburon+wine.jpg" border="0" /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5473412889042318274" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4g20H3YI9V2kTWyi_v9g5oa4qi0iSbEPHrp3dQ_yzvfQz7xS6ToQD8r-WgAFPPvzz3m_oDP7PO8NRWcxSHkMoU-HvUOxf7vB1G5Xxfy3oeIDgXingvUBvLkKwqAF2XncvRRZ9EdZwQym_/s320/tiburon+2.jpg" border="0" /> We have busy summer coming up: a few trips to Tahoe, Catie’s 2nd birthday, a couple of trips to LA, and maybe Hawaii in the fall. However, the biggest summer festivity is happening next month. Auntie E (Colin’s sister) and Ken are getting married in Seattle and Catie is going to be the flower girl. We can’t wait for June 26th!</div></div></div>Kimberlyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/13622161690290165843noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4247100458096776710.post-46847471429666783652010-04-28T09:59:00.000-07:002010-04-28T10:40:10.817-07:00Backyard AnticsThings have been busy in the O’Connell household. Last weekend Colin’s sister (Auntie E) and her fiancé Ken came into town to celebrate Barbara’s birthday. On Saturday night we all went to dinner to celebrate and Tom surprised her with a 3 week trip to Europe in September!! What an amazing gift (Colin take note…someday). It was a wonderful weekend and Catie is sure going to miss B and Da when they are gone (but she is pretty sure that they will bring her back a few things).<br /><br />Now that Spring is officially here, we have been trying to get our backyard ready since we know that we will being spending a lot of time in it. I really wanted to plant vegetables so we had to weed and fertilize the soil first. Colin and his dad worked really hard on getting everything ready and then I went to work on planting veggies and flowers. We have named our vegetable garden “Catie’s Garden” and it consists of watermelon, lettuce, cucumbers, peppers (red, green and yellow), basil, mint, cilantro, garlic and tomatoes and carrots are being planted on Sunday. Keep your fingers crossed that everything grows!<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5465235406776884802" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGT88ZBZSwOC_O985lK3lBqL7GllahPF-nJcBGJVHAhMIdS_6BQNIbyBqMMEmvgQtEYJ5zhyD9wk0iM9NdP9MBU9BAAArDz7sRwo69z5mED59yCWfAodL2BpwGnIGRKgemEZupx5Km7fYd/s320/veggies.bmp" border="0" />Not only did Colin and I spend time working in the yard but so did Catie.<br /><br />First she helped mow the lawn with her new lawnmower<br /><br /><div><br /><div><br /><div></div><br /><div><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5465235373933192898" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBib5aSvfLlCqIQr0ODjlJJWUuQDTThyphenhyphenqvcyvQhTpHnIn6b42wNz5vj3KGXsYvkmgjoSMji-IOlGvM1f1nMG4K97uZCEc9FR9X_8vejG06ZnmJEQd4c2QB4acwRyQ76NCp2CUBKOTGgwrk/s320/lawn+mower.bmp" border="0" />Then she found some mud puddles and tried to clear out the water for us </div><br /><div><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5465235385766205506" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj4Yiv19ZvSinc7Wnzuz5Ov8vauUTaAGhTU1QOIrYDhInavIRF27XN7mAiauLH25jLgmRctJVGzqUajd1uaEfmkEpYe0uzt4pydSWxiN0cKiHAD5cFURZCy13L8ZXGs7R8VnrxoiF3-H5yd/s320/mud2.bmp" border="0" /><br />The end result is one dirty toddler<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5465235391878497282" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOZwUubb3hi9RkvyP9KamUYQcIe97IvlsV8Rrg0PvdCxg32onNnaLBqHubNDdtbQ_mhVXC_Sh_Ih_h6Ak5e3EiOjMpl0JqjbEiIAnPVOZYakLUmWfPj_tpcK-sOjkAlqWgf8mAURFG6YHF/s320/mud.bmp" border="0" />She cleans up well though and is ready for Spring<br /><br /><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5465235364550081490" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5Uu3XJcIP-JJRaX9siaVuiPheKlG3GtTiM9b6AmjFewdoG0hu6SDzHyVBy7OJ8prFL2q03iImBHwPEpkObscfPOsUIux6ai0gOTllLZmcAQ8gX2uqPoMDgzAUR74bd9njincu5DZUedV3/s320/catie+spring+shirt.bmp" border="0" />This weekend we are walking in the Bay Area Brain Tumor 5k walk. In June 2008 one of best friends from college, Jackie Oswold, was diagnosed with Anaplastic Astrocytoma (a grade 3 glioma) in June of 2008. She went through a treatment program of surgery, radiation, and chemo that was completed in May of 2009. Now, in order to avoid developing a chemo resistance, Jackie is not currently being treated. Instead, she waits and hopes every day that her tumor (which she named Turk) isn't growing undetected in her brain. Living with cancer isn't easy. But, she holds out hope that someone finds a cure before it's too late. Jackie needs a cure NOW. She loves running around using all of the equipment, jumping on the trampoline, crawling through tunnels, and climbing all over the mats. Mom loves the extra long nap that Catie always takes on Friday afternoon! After class she gets stamps on each of her hands and she goes bananas over them. Every time we drive past the building (it is next to her swim lessons in the Presidio) she points to her hands and gets really excited.<br /><br /><p><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwkcpQhbgYfeFtPag6gd-YpbJmIo_y_QKIC3qELx63uuQj0w0gpsJrEOpzUOwx1Eq5EcDHlyHkml2bncBrh8w' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></p><p><iframe allowfullscreen='allowfullscreen' webkitallowfullscreen='webkitallowfullscreen' mozallowfullscreen='mozallowfullscreen' width='320' height='266' src='https://www.blogger.com/video.g?token=AD6v5dwS4SxbkwCncdkc4cGfPXo8uQxyhZob6fRjKr09GptjQVjBWBlttFsXMDXXyaxbdGYYWd9CDNdmbyjpWtM7tQ' class='b-hbp-video b-uploaded' frameborder='0'></iframe></p><p>We are headed to Pasadena tomorrow for Easter. YIKES!!!! We decided to rent a place so we can take our time in purchasing our new home and let me tell you folks…we love our new home.
